DESERT COMMANDER
7 year old bay gelding, 16.2 hands
Update January 2010 – Desert Commander (aka Gobi) is a beautiful big bay with a very floaty trot. Gobi has had loads of reschooling already. He is very handsome and has a great deal of presence about him. Gobi fractured both of his back ankles as a 2 yr old buy has made considerable progress since leaving the racetrack. The ankles have healed well, but he would be best suited in a light-riding type of home. No jumping or heavy-hard riding for this guy. Gobi has been out on the trails & was a lot of fun out there – not a boring, lazy ride. Wouldn’t this big boy look great with you riding him???

KEEN-NESS
Keen has had her down time from the track and has just been restarted under saddle. She is a "cheeky" mare and will require an experienced rider who is familiar with retraining Thoroughbreds. Keen has a very sweet side once she gets to know you—she can be a really snuggle bunny! She came off the track clean and will have unlimited potential. Come meet this beauty!
Keen is a 6 year old dark bay mare and is 16.2 hands tall.

FLEET VALID

This handsome dark bay has been retired after being a successful racehorse winning $380,000 in 28 starts. He is sound and ready to be retrained for his next career. This horse has a lovely temperament and any discipline on the flat is suitable for him. Jumping is not suitable because of an old seismoid fracture.

This beautiful girl will walk straight into your heart! She has a wonderful loving disposition and is so willing to learn! She is quiet and fun to ride, and loves new challenges. Daisy has excellent ground manners, and thrives on attention. She is not rattled by much, has a wonderful bomb proof disposition. Daisy has been started in flat work and is progressing beautifully. She is a must see if you are looking for a loving horse to give a new career and home to! She is best suited for pleasure riding, low level dressage or the hunter ring as she has some breathing issues. She is medically sound, and ready for her new home!

NORTH FLASH
This beautiful gelding has been given the o.k. by our vet to start light work. Flash has screws in his front ankle from an old racing injury. He has been with us for a little over a year and boy has that year made a world of difference not only healing his physical injury but he has emotionally matured as well.
The perfect parent for him would be someone looking for a horse to love, teach and take long relaxing trail rides with. If that is you then Flash is your BOY!
He is a 9 year old gelding.

EMPORIA
Emporia is a big, gorgeous hunk of a fella looking for a forever home as a pasture ornament. (He looks sooooo good standing out there!) Although me may never be sound for riding, he has plenty of love to give!
He is an 12 year old gelding and stands at over 16 hands.
