Please consider sponsoring one or more of our special needs horses who can no longer be ridden and/or have medical conditions that require some degree of extra care.These beloved horses are available for adoption, but we realize their chances of finding forever homes are low.

We are committed to letting them, and any other ReRun horses who don’t get adopted, live out the rest of their lives with us in comfort and dignity. They’ve earned this. They deserve this. Your monthly or one-time sponsorship can help us do this.

"Tilly" is a NJ-bred who had a brief and lackluster racing career before she bowed a tendon and was retired. ReRun took her in, cared for her, and found her a new adoptive home where she excelled as a riding horse. Through no fault of her own, Tilly ended up having a few adoptive homes by the time she arrived back at ReRun, 20 years later.

Tilly is now spending her Golden Years at a foster farm in North Carolina where she enjoys the company of two elderly pasture mates and a small family of goats. Though she's a bit of a cranky old gal, she does take pleasure in the finer things of life, such as letting the baby goats stand up against her so they can reach leaves from tall branches and savoring the homemade apple cookies her wonderful foster mom makes!

RAMBLIN BEAUTY

Ramblin Beauty, better known as “Rose”, is the most lovely, serene horse you can imagine. She came off the track years ago with a fractured knee and was never rideable after that. She was adopted, along with her two other pasture mates, by a very kind couple who gave her love and attention for 10 years…and Rose in turn, gave it all back to them. Unfortunately, Rose's adopters were elderly and could no longer care for her, so as the story goes, she came back to ReRun at the age of 20 and is now needing sponsorship or another kind soul to let her live out her life peacefully. Rose loves attention and will stand all day to be brushed and groomed. She is never pushy with people or other horses. She is just the perfect lady. If you find it in your heart and soul to help Rose she will thank you from the bottom of her heart, and ReRun will too.

Happy birthday Flight! Flight turns 30 this year and his birthday wish is for a sponsor to help him live out his life peacefully with his pasture buddies, Ramblin Beauty and Mossy Rock. The three of them have been together for 17 years with one owner, and wouldn't know what to do without each other. Life changes have sent them to North Carolina where they are retired and need your sponsorship. With your kindness, Flight can have a very happy birthday, and many more!
