NEW JERSEY CHAPTER - page 2
FIGHTING ROY KELLY
15.2 Hand, 10 year old gelding
December, 2009 - Formerly a "Run for ReRun" horse who competed on the New York circuit, we were only too proud to bring him into our adoption program. "Roy" started 42 times and won 9 times. Unfortunately a fractured knee ended his racing career. He has been working under saddle for quite a few months and is a very easy goer. He likes to "jog" more than trot - so he would do well for a western pleasure/trail type of rider. Roy is well-mannered and easy to handle, Roy is waiting for you!
Adoption fee: $100
EASTOVER FAITH/ Pensioned with ReRun
“Eastie”, as he is fondly nicknamed, had a very successful career spanning over 5 years. He raced mainly on the Maryland circuit and won 9 races, 2 of them stakes, and over $223,000 in purses before retiring at the age of 6 due to very arthritic hocks.
Because of this ailment, he has difficulty keeping his balance in his hind end so he is not suitable for riding. He will therefore be difficult to place and will need to be on supplements to ease the pain of his achy joints and for the prevention of the arthritis advancing any further. Eastover Faith is now 14 years old.

INFINITE CRESCENDO/ Pensioned with ReRun
Crescendo is a Jersey boy, born and bred, and one of our most popular sponsorship horses. Starting his career at 2 years old, winning a stake and gradually descending through the claiming ranks with earnings totaling nearly $224,000, he was a running fool till age ten.
Unfortunately, when he could race no more he found himself in West Virginia, on the verge of going to a very bad place before being bought back by one of his previous owners who had kept tabs on him since they had lost him in a claiming race. They donated him to ReRun and he has been safe, happy and out of harm's way ever since.
"Crescendo" has a very bad ankle from all the wear and tear of his long racing career and is not suitable for riding. This certainly does not take away from his lovable personality that makes him adored by everyone who comes in contact with him. Infinite Crescendo is now 19 years old.

HURRICANIAN
Canadian-bred Hurricanian is a big boy, and is as sweet as he looks! Retired from racing due to a slab fracture in his knee, he will be sound for a trail horse only—but what fun you could have! He has already undergone lay-up time and is ready for his new home. Well-loved and cared for at the track, he is looking for someone to love him and get him going in his new career.
He is 15.3 hands tall and is a 9 year old gelding.
NORTH FLASH
This beautiful gelding has been given the o.k. by our vet to start light work. Flash has screws in his front ankle from an old racing injury. He has been with us for a little over a year and boy has that year made a world of difference not only healing his physical injury but he has emotionally matured as well.
The perfect parent for him would be someone looking for a horse to love, teach and take long relaxing trail rides with. If that is you then Flash is your BOY!
He is a 9 year old gelding.
All of our horses in this chapter are located at our farm “ReRun at Reindancer” Farm in New Egypt, New Jersey For more information please contact out New Jersey chapter director, Laurie Lane, at rerunnj@comcast.net or 732-521-1370.

TILT MY HORNS
August, 2009 - Tilt My Horns is a gorgeous gray with a very engaging personality. She has a chip in her right knee which ended her racing career after 17 races. Due to the knee chip, our vet advises flat work only. Tilt has begun work under saddle and is very easy going. She is also comfortable out in the trails.
If you are looking for a kind horse and you like to keep all fours on the ground (no jumping for this girl), Tilt would be a marvelous addition to you family!
