We would like to share with you the very special people and animals who have passed away and whose loved ones have made donations or sponsorships in their memory.
Kristen Narcini (1986 - 2006) was a loving, caring and generous person throughout her life.  She cared for and trained horses, most especially her beloved horse Reddy or Not (a.k.a. Red).  Kristen and Red were a team in many ways, spiritually and when competing in various horse events, especially show jumping.  Kristen's memory is cherished, and her spirit lives on in our hearts, where it will dwell forever - even after we are one day reunited.  Until then, we remember her in our thoughts and prayers and honor her on special days throughout the year.  Please visit Kristen's virtual memorial at:

Joseph Wayne Yelton  (1919-1984) was both a loving father and a dear friend to me.  He used to take me to Latonia and River Downs race tracks when I was a child, and introduced me to the world of horse racing.  Some of my dearest memories are of us going to the track together.  He always wanted to own a race horse, but never had the opportunity to do so.  The horse I chose to sponsor is Tally because she was born when my father was still alive and lives in Kentucky where my father and I lived.  Papa, I miss you so much, and I hope you watch over Tally as she enjoys her green fields of Kentucky!

Elinor “Lorraine” Salvino, was a loyal sister, loving wife, caring mother of 5, proud grandmother of 12 and cherished great grandmother of 6. During her life, she was many things to many people, but she will always be remembered for her lifelong passion for thoroughbred racing, particularly her concern for the horses and those who worked with them. The welfare of the horses and the jockeys, whether on or off the track, was always her highest priority. In 1978, she and her husband (the late S. Mark Salvino) purchased their first racehorse, Raise a Charm. Over time they acquired more racehorses and raced them at Hawthorn, Arlington, Balmoral, Fairmont, Sam Houston, Retama Park among others. Lorraine shared her love for horses and animals in general with all those who knew her.

Your horses (and all of us) will miss you dearly!

Ida Graves passed away in August, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 78 years. A lifetime resident of the Pryor area, Ida attended school at Lone Chapel Grade School, before graduating from Adair High School in 1946. Helping to raise 11 siblings, she went to work for several years and then attended Draughon’s School of Business in Tulsa. Ida became a legal secretary and then married Boyd Allen in 1952. Later in her life, Ida formed AW Tax Service, which she co-owned for 19 years. She sold that business and went to work as a real estate agent.

After the death of her husband Boyd, Ida later married Charles Graves. Ida Graves was a devoted family person and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Swift Robbie
1951 - 2009) came into this world 58 years ago as a Son and Brother. He left a much richer man; Son, Brother, Friend, Business Owner, Uncle, Father, Grandfather and Husband. His legacy will live on for generations in his children’s personalities, in the way we teach our nieces, nephews, our children and our children’s children. It should be so fitting that his story end the way it began, his jade pinky ring, his three children and his loving wife by his side. His last words on this earth were to tell mom he loves her. Dad, we know you are here with us and we know that you knew you had everything the whole time.

My father and I shared a bond among the horses.  I have chosen Infinite Crescendo as the horse to sponsor because he is a Jersey Boy, born and raised, just like my dad.  He would have liked this horse!    -Lauren

Lauren… so sorry for your loss. Harry
